Regular animation and communication are organised at the SOERE PRO level in order to unite the network members and to facilitate the diffusion of the scientific results

Animation

The SOERE PRO is a network of partners. Events are organized to discuss about technical aspects, to harmonize site management and monitoring, organize working groups, make technical and scientific choices, present major results acquired on sites or related to the sites.

The animation helps to ensure members cohesion, sites coordination and management, results analyses and communication between actors and partners of the SOERE PRO network.

The events are:

  • General meeting: once a year, in order to gather all actors and partners and to allow young students and scientists to present their works,
  • Technical committee: once or twice a year, it is a place for exchanges on the work carried out, feedback and technical decision-making / coordination. It is also an opportunity for visits and exchanges with colleagues from other observatories,
  • Scientific drectory: once a year, it is a place of orientation and scientific decision-making,
  • Working groups: Organized punctually or regularely, according to the evolution of the work of the SOERE PRO, to ensure the installation and monitoring of sensors, for the website and information system.

Communication

Scientific results obtained in the SOERE-PRO are classically presented in national and international scientific meetings. An international scientific meetings has been organized by the SOERE-PRO (RAMIRAN 2013 in Versailles, international meeting on organic residue recycling). Dissemination meetings have also been organized with visits of the field experiments.

Dissemination meetings have also been organized with visits of the field experiments.

The work of the SOERE PRO is also communicated in annual reports (for each experimental device), during congresses, via partner websites :

Experimental devices: research and teaching supports

The SOERE PRO experimental sites are valued as supports for campaigns and specific research work. This allows the acquisition of new data (eg bioindicators, physical strength of the soil, bioavailability of trace metals, pharmaceutical and hormonal residues). The sites integrated into ANAEE-France (QualiAgro, PROspective, EFELE, La Réunion) are also open to welcoming new scientific partners.

They are also valued as educational and exchange supports. The SOERE PRO network has been used to produce a training support material for agricultural high school teachers devoted field experiments management and data management.
