Inès Bertoldi, from INTA Bariloche, Argentina, is currently staying at INRA Orléans, France.

Her first two-month stay is one of a series of three. In total, Inès is going to spend six months at INRA Orléans between the 1^st of March and the end of December 2016.

Inès is working in Work Package 1 “High throughput phenotyping of wood quality”. She is especially involved in the development of NIRS calibration models for microdensity and vulnerability to cavitation. She will also work on the comparison of the indirect X-ray and of the direct High Frequency microdensitometers. She uses pine and eucalyptus wood samples collected in Argentina, acquire the NIRS and microdensity data and will participate to the development of the calibration models.

Inès secondments in TOPWOOD are linked to her current career developments: she is willing to build new competencies and skills for existing and future professional needs at INTA.
