N-Index: Calculation of minimum sample size for an index

This program allows calculating the minimum size of a sample, when knowing the coefficient of variation wanted. Calculating an index consists in integrating the distribution of the proportion of observations within classes, into a single index.

To calculate the minimum size of the sample with N-Index, you have to indicate the number of classes of your index, fill in a table by indicating for each class the coefficient and the frequency of the observations and indicate the coefficient of variation targeted. In result, you will obtain the value of the minimum sample size.
