Pest pressure characterisation is a main issue in field experiments, but information related to this topic is often scattered and difficult to find. The aim of this platform is to compile, organise and provide relevant information in order to help plant protection scientists design adapted and sharable methods and protocols for characterisation of pest pressure in the field.

The objective of the platform is not to provide standardised protocols, but to harmonise the existing information and to provide guidelines to be used for various objectives.
The QuantiPest development is supported by the European network of excellence ENDURE and administrated by INRAE’s IPM network.
