Counting method by plant collection for aphids and syrphids in wheat fields

The protocol consists in a counting method by capture of aphids (mainly Rhopalosiphum padi, Metopolophium dihrodum and Sitobion avenae) and aphid mummies in cereal crops. The same method is used for syrphids, natural enemies of aphids.

Use/context:

It is used in ecological studies of prey-predator relationships.
