Official language

The official working language of the meeting is English. Sessions will not be translated.

Passport and visa

There are no visa requirements for EU passport holders. All non-EU citizens should contact their local embassy for specific requirements. Health and insurance

Participants are requested to arrange their own insurance for health, travel and property. The Organizing committee will not accept any liability for personal injuries, loss or damage of property.

Smoking ban

Smoking is forbidden in enclosed workplaces in France. This includes office blocks, various buildings, public houses/bars, restaurants and company vehicles. Smoking will not be permitted indoors at the Cordeliers Campus.

Currency and money exchange

The monetary unit in France is the Euro. Currency can be exchanged at the airport, at banks or from cash dispensers. All major credit cards such as MasterCard, Visa and American Express are accepted at most hotels, restaurants, and shops.

Electricity supply

France's electrical system is 220 V, 50 Hz. The outlets are of the two-round-pin type.

Climate

Paris has a mild climate. During the month of May the weather could be summer like with highs around 25°C. However, if we do have rainy weather the temperature could drop down to 10°C.
