MAIN RESEARCH TOPIC

Dr Schebb interests are the effects of food ingredients on human health. Since 2011 -funded by the European Union and the German Research Foundation, my group and me investigate the modulation of the eicosanoid/oxylipin formation by polyphenols and unsaturated fatty acids utilizing analytical chemistry methods, particularly liquid chromatography mass spectrometry.

2006-2009:       Ph.D. in analytical chemistry at the university of Münster in the group of Prof. Dr. U. Karst with the topic: Development of HPLC-MS methods for the detection of inhibitors and enzymatic activities

2004-2006:       Graduate studies at the University of Karlsruhe in the group of Prof. Dr. M. Metzler. Diploma thesis entitled: “In vitro metabolism of the mycotoxins alternariol and alternariolmonomethylether”
