Since 1935, Georges Delbard Pépinières & Roseraies create, produce and distribute their own plants. The annual production represents 600 000 roses and  200 000 fruits which are distributed in France and around the world (5 continents, 20 countries) with the help of 20 partners to nearly 2000 clients including both amateurs and professionals. Georges Delbard. Pépiniéres & Roseraies, who are specialists in fruit - apple, pear, cherry - rose - garden rose and greenhouse rose - and dahlia, hybridize and select their own creations.

This involvement in the entire chain from breeding new varieties to the end user is the specificity of the company.

Since March 24, 2012, Arnaud and Henri Delbard regained control of the company with the goal to revitalize research policy and innovation as well as varietal creations to find "historical" product quality Georges Delbard. Today the company employs the equivalent of 85 full-time staff working on an area of about 600 hectares, with a private research facility, a laboratory for in vitro production and research (biotechnology, roses and fruit) and a licencing service that manages the distribution of its varieties in the world.

The Société Nouvelle Pépinières and Roseraies Georges Delbard is involved in the project GENIUS on two plant species of great importance for the company: rose and apple tree. It will make available elite varieties, which have been obtained by a thorough selection process, for biotechnology approaches. It will thereby contribute to the development of new breeding methods that will render breeders' work more efficient and faster.
