Associate professor of Agro-ecology and Farming Systems at the Farming Systems Ecology group of Wageningen University in the Netherlands.

Research interests include: (1) multi-objective evaluation and design of farming systems (FarmDESIGN), (2) spatial modeling of spread of pests and natural enemies from field to landscape, and (3) co-innovation to strengthen the effectiveness of scientific knowledge in research for action.
